I have always been interested in most things artistic. I love drawing/sketching and have since I was a child. Always sketching the family pets or other still life objects around me.

About 4 years ago I began drawing and designing my own projects. Although the process of designing, painting and making patterns of those designs is a time consuming and detailed process, I love sharing my designs with all of you!! It helps me grow as an artist. I want to continue to get better and to try new things. I continue to take more classes at my local guild with very knowledgeable  and talented artists. I participate in live online classes, self-study classes…anything paint related! I have recently tried painting with oils and also look forward to trying other mediums new to me such as coloured pencils and watercolours…

I began painting with acrylics on my own, learning as I went.  My first few projects were freehand drawn and  painted on small clay pots, that I later filled with candy and gave away as Christmas gifts. I can remember being pretty proud of those pots. LOL

After that, I decided to take a couple of painting classes to try and learn some proper technique. Of course, I was hooked!! That was 10 years ago and I am still loving all that painting has to offer!!
